(For the late ALBERT CHO NGAFOR, a man born ahead of his time.
He saw and knew London, long before the city came into being.
He knows why I have given this poem the title it is carrying.)
By Tikum Mbah Azonga
London, London, London all over
Whether on the bridge
Or at Westminster
Or Buckingham Palace
Or Trafalgar Square
It`s not over until its` over
Whether the answer is Kings Cross or the Ridge
Whether you are an Islingtonian or an East Ender
As long as you are wearing Togo lace
And you address yourself as `Esquire`
You can expect to hear the bishop`s homily.
