THE TAX COLLECTOR

I’m not a county Court judge
I’m only a local tax collector
Worried about tax evasion
And the yearly shortfalls
Don’t show me the bench
I want the tax tickets.

I won’t be the first to fudge
Neither will I be the first council housing evictor
What I need is total conversion
Even if it’s at the Ayaba Falls
No one, not even the garden wench
Can any longer hide behind the thickets.
