THE PAPER BOAT

By Tikum Mbah Azonga

We’re not at loggerheads
That’s not good enough
We’re walls and worlds apart
Like the two blokes in their heyday
Mediation won’t work
So save your energy.

Before us, he was one of the Feds
He earned enough dough
Like a master planner he played well his part
But when the conquerors came and spoilt his holiday
He declared the president was nothing but a jerk
That’s why he’s spent his time looking for Carnegie.

Hi Randen,

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Unfortunately you said nothing about yourself. Wouldn`t it be nice if we knew where you were writing from and perhaps what made you write?
