THE HIDDEN OCTOPUS

By Tikum Mbah Azonga

It wasn't mine at all
It was hers totally
But I still knew about the stretch marks
Concealed as they were in their carapace
Only the rich fool could have thought otherwise
Yet I struck before they arrived
All their arsenal of armoury meant nothing
That's why single-handed; I triumphed.
