THE PRESIDENT`S LAST CHANCE

By Tikum Mbah Azonga

The president`s farm is vast
But it lies fallow
Shoots have drooped
Plants have withered and died
Insecticides and fungicides have made no difference
Harvests have plummeted; so has revenue
Work men are calling it a day.

So the nation is aghast
And angered by the many who just wallow
The other president wants all the bills that were adopted
Every researcher agrees there is need to act by inference
So tomorrow at midnight the nation will rise and camp at the venue
Everyone has sworn that everything will be reversed, come election day.
