THE MALE PREDATOR

(For Effenge)

By Tikum Mbah Azonga

Love not he who does not love at first sight
For such a man is a thief at midnight
His tongue hangs out like the snake's
And his tail wags like that of a Cuban bull dog
Stroke his bottom and you will see it's fake.

If you spot him anywhere
Stop and make way for him
Because if he touches you, like Lot's wife
You'll turn into a pillar of salt.
Above all, never tell him you work in Bokwoango
For if he signs you with the magic wand
You'll simply vanish into thin air.

I appreciate your application of the biblical allusion an your use of areas like Bokwaongo gives more light to your poem because it shows you master and know a lot.

Thanks. Incidentally, the person for whom the poem was written also works there.
